You may have noticed the Speed Indicator Device (SID) on roads around Wrockwardine and Admaston.

These devices warn drivers exceeding the speed limit and, at the same time, log the number of vehicles which break the speed limit.

The Parish Council hopes that this will encourage drivers to be more careful when passing through our villages.

The figures collected will be used to determine what traffic calming methods may be used, should that become necessary. At present we have one "SID" which is being moved around various preset sites around our villages.
