About Wrockwardine Parish Council

The Parish lies within the boundaries of Telford & Wrekin and has an approximate electorate of 2,500. The Ward profile for the Parish in 2011 showed a population of 5,912 divided between 2,267 households with an average household size of 2.63 people. 

The Parish covers an area of 55,392 hectares and has a population density of 1.1 per hectare.

The Parish Council is made up of 10 councillors who usually meet on the second Wednesday of the month (except August) at Admaston House Community Centre or Wrockwardine Parish Hall. A list of the meetings to be held during the year can be found by clicking on the "Meetings" tab on the menu bar.


Wrockwardine Parish Council is also a Lighting Authority under the provisions of the Lighting and Watching Act 1833 and is responsible for the street lighting around Admaston and Wrockwardine. If you see a problem with a streetlight, please report it to the Clerk.
